We're here to help you get the most out of Popcall.

Why do I see a charge on my card even though I didn't get on a call?

With Popcall, you are not charged for video calls unless your call gets connected, whether now or later.

However, to facilitate a seamless call experience, Popcall puts a temporary hold on your payment method when you initiate your call request in the amount of 30 minutes of call time. (For instance, if the creator charges $3.00/min, a temporary hold of $90.00 may be placed on your card.)

This preauthorization is temporary and gets released 3 days after your initial call request.*

Rest assured, you will not be charged if you didn't receive a reply.

*Note: Popcall always releases the hold on your card after 3 days (or 5 days for message holds), but it may take a few extra days for you to see this hold removed from your bank statement. Every bank is different, but most clear holds within a few days.
