If this is the case, you're most likely seeing a temporary preauthorized hold on your payment method that will be released soon.
When you send your first message, Popcall places a temporary hold on your card for up to 5 days to make it easier to text back and forth. The first hold usually covers a few messages, and your future holds may be a bit higher depending on your spending habits. We'll always show you the amount of your hold before you send your first message.
Example
Let's say you had a $20 hold on your card and ended up sending and receiving $5 worth of messages with a creator. You will only pay $5 total, and that charge will be finalized when the temporary hold on your card is released after 5 days. Because of this, you will see a pending charge on your credit card (in this case, for $20) until the hold is released.
Rest assured, you will only be charged for the number of message replies you received.
